ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTAugust 15, 2016: REMINDER: PECO RFP - Optional Guaranty Process Deadline is August 18
All potential bidders that rely on the financial standing of a guarantor may use the Standard Guaranty appended to the PECO Energy Company Pennsylvania Default Service Supplier Master Agreement (“Uniform SMA”).
The Guaranty Process is an opportunity for potential bidders to:
• Propose modifications to the Standard Guaranty that are non-material in nature or advantageous to both PECO and the potential bidder; or
• Submit an alternate guaranty form for consideration by PECO.
The deadline to propose modifications to the Standard Guaranty is 6PM EPT on Thursday, August 18, 2016. Potential bidders that choose to propose modifications to the Standard Guaranty must do so by submitting a Microsoft Word document using substantially the same form as the Standard Guaranty and indicating clearly any and all modifications. A list of previously acceptable modifications is available on the RFP website Pecoprocurement.com. Materials must be submitted electronically by email to the Independent Evaluator at pecoprocurement@nera.com.
Additionally, PECO has specified a list of minimum requirements that any alternate guaranty form must satisfy, including the requirement that the alternate guaranty form must not be subject to a monetary limit. These requirements are listed in the Guaranty Process document posted to the Supplier Information – Documents page. The deadline to submit an alternate guaranty form is 6PM EPT on Thursday, August 18, 2016. Potential bidders that choose to submit an alternate guaranty form must submit all required materials electronically by email to the Independent Evaluator at pecoprocurement@nera.com.
