ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTAugust 02, 2019: PECO RFP – ANNOUNCEMENT: Announcing the Sixth Solicitation under PECO’s DSP IV; Deadline for Intention to Use the Alternate Guaranty Process
PECO is holding a sixth solicitation under DSP IV to procure full requirements service for two classes of customers: the residential class and the small commercial class. The Bid Date is Tuesday, September 24, 2019. To submit bids in this solicitation, a supplier must present its qualifications through the submission of a Part 1 Proposal by 12 PM (noon) EST on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
All potential bidders that rely on the financial standing of a guarantor may use the Standard Guaranty appended to the PECO Energy Company Pennsylvania Default Service Supplier Master Agreement (“Uniform SMA”). Potential bidders that have corporate policies that prevent them from using the Standard Guaranty and that wish to submit an alternate guaranty form for consideration by PECO must advise the Independent Evaluator of their intention by
Please note that:
- any alternate guaranty form must satisfy a number of requirements set out in the Alternate Guaranty Process document posted to the Supplier Information – Documents page, including the requirement that the alternate guaranty form must not be subject to a monetary limit.
- The Alternate Guaranty Process is NOT a process by which suppliers may propose modifications to the Standard Guaranty. Any such proposal may be submitted with the Part 1 Proposal.
