ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTMarch 30, 2009: Default Service Procurement Plan Conference Call Presentation Materials and Dial-In Information
On September 10, 2008, PECO Energy Company ("PECO") filed its initial default service procurement plan with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PaPUC") to purchase electric supply to serve its default service customers (i.e., customers who do not choose service from an alternative Electric Generation Supplier ("EGS") or who contract for service and the chosen EGS does not supply the service). On March 10, 2009, 12 of the 13 parties in the proceeding before the PaPUC agreed to a settlement and filed a joint petition requesting approval of PECO’s procurement plan as modified by the settlement (the "PECO Plan"); the remaining party does not oppose the settlement. The joint petition is currently pending before the PaPUC, which could render its decision on the PECO Plan as early as April 16, 2009.
A conference call is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. (Eastern Time). Representatives from PECO will present the PECO Plan. Representatives of NERA Economic Consulting, the proposed Independent Evaluator for the procurement, will also be present. Time is scheduled for questions and discussion.
The presentation is posted to the Documents page of the PECO Procurement Web site.
