ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTJune 17, 2009: PECO Energy Company: Commission Approves Results of Spring 2009 Solicitation
Today the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PUC") approved the winning bids in the first solicitation through which PECO is seeking supply for its Default Service customers. The Secretarial Letter approving the results is available on the PUC web site here and will be posted to the RFP Web site on the Previous Results page here.
PECO’s Default Service Program was approved by the PUC on April 16, 2009. Bidders’ qualification materials were due on May 27 and bids were due on June 15. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was provided with the results of the solicitation on June 16 and evaluated the results within one business day. The Independent Evaluator will release summary information about the winning bids on or after July 15, 2009.
