ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTJanuary 24, 2017: Announcing the First Solicitation under PECO’s DSP IV; Posting: RFP Documents for March 2017 Solicitation
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission rendered a decision on PECO’s fourth Default Service Program (“DSP IV”) in its Order dated December 8, 2016 (Docket No. P-2016-2534980). PECO is holding a first solicitation under DSP IV to procure full requirements service for three classes of customers: the residential class, the small commercial class, and the consolidated large commercial and industrial class. The Bid Date is March 14, 2017. Documents for this first solicitation, such as the RFP Rules and Uniform SMA, have been posted to the RFP website www.pecoprocurement.com.
NERA Economic Consulting ("NERA") will serve as the Independent Evaluator. There will be eight (8) solicitations to procure Default Supply for the period June 1, 2017 through May 31, 2021 and for a portion of the requirements for the period beyond June 1, 2021. Solicitations are scheduled in March and September of each year from 2017 through 2020.
