ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTSeptember 22, 2010: PECO RFP: Commission Approves Results of Fall 2010 Solicitation
Today the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PUC") approved the winning bids in the fourth solicitation through which PECO is seeking supply for its Default Service customers for the Residential, Small Commercial, and Medium Commercial customer classes. For the Large Commercial and Industrial class, the PUC partially approved the winning bids. The Secretarial Letter approving the results is available on the PUC Web site here and has been posted to the RFP Web site on the Previous Results page here.
PECO’s Default Service Program was approved by the PUC on April 16, 2009. Bidders’ qualification materials were due on August 31 and bids were due on September 20. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was provided with the results of the solicitation on September 21 and evaluated the results within one business day. The Independent Evaluator will release summary information about the winning bids on or after October 20, 2010.
