ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTJanuary 20, 2012: PECO RFP: Commission Approves Results of Winter 2012 Solicitation
Today the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PUC") approved the winning bids in the seventh solicitation through which PECO is seeking supply for its Default Service customers for the Residential, Small Commercial, Medium Commercial and Large Commercial & Industrial customer classes. The Secretarial Letter approving the results is available on the PUC Web site.
PECO’s Default Service Program was approved by the PUC on April 16, 2009. Bidders’ qualification materials were due on December 8, 2011 and bids were due on January 18, 2012. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was provided with the results of the solicitation on January 19, 2011 and evaluated the results within one business day. The Independent Evaluator will release summary information about the winning bids on or after February 2, 2012.
