ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTMay 26, 2010: PECO Energy Company: Commission Approves Results of Spring 2010 Solicitation
Today the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PUC") approved the winning bids in the third solicitation through which PECO is seeking supply for its Default Service customers. The Secretarial Letter approving the results is available on the PUC Web site here and has been posted to the RFP Web site on the Previous Results page here.
PECO’s Default Service Program was approved by the PUC on April 16, 2009. Bidders’ qualification materials were due on May 4 and bids were due on May 24. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was provided with the results of the solicitation on May 25 and evaluated the results within one business day. The Independent Evaluator will release summary information about the winning bids on or after June 23, 2010.
