ARCHIVED AND NO LONGER RELEVANTMay 04, 2011: PECO RFP: Commission Approves Results of Spring 2011 Solicitation
Today the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PUC") approved the winning bids in the fifth solicitation through which PECO is seeking supply for its Default Service customers for the Residential and Large Commercial & Industrial customer classes. The Secretarial Letter approving the results is available on the PUC Web site.
PECO’s Default Service Program was approved by the PUC on April 16, 2009. Bidders’ qualification materials were due on April 12, 2011 and bids were due on May 2, 2011. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was provided with the results of the solicitation on May 3, 2011 and evaluated the results within one business day. The Independent Evaluator will release summary information about the winning bids on or after May 17, 2011.
