Welcome to PECO Energy Company's ("PECO") Web site for the purchase of supply starting June 2013 under its second Default Service Program (DSP II). PECO’s DSP II (Docket No. P-2012-2283641) was approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (“PaPUC” or “Commission”) in its Order dated October 12, 2012 with certain revisions. PECO was required to file a revised Default Service Program reflecting the revisions in the Order within sixty (60) days. On November 21, 2012, the Commission issued an Order clarifying that since the October 12, 2012 Order is final with respect to the competitive procurement program, PECO could proceed with its solicitations under DSP II. On December 11, 2012, PECO submitted a compliance filing including a revised procurement schedule, a revised Default Service Supply Master Agreement (“Default Service SMA”), revised DSP II Request for Proposals (“RFP”), in addition to revised tariff pages, revised Request for Proposals and Program Rules for an Opt-In Program, and a Standard Offer Program. The Commission issued a Secretarial Letter on January 25, 2013, approving the DSP II schedule, Default Service SMA, and RFP documents from the compliance filing.

There will be five (5) solicitations to procure Default Supply for the period June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2015 and for a portion of the requirements for the period June 1, 2015 through November 30, 2016.
Default Supply is procured for each of four classes of customers (residential, small commercial, medium commercial, and large commercial and industrial), through a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) process for various supply periods. The RFP will procure tranches for full requirements service on a fixed-price basis for the residential, small commercial, and medium commercial classes. The RFP will also procure full requirements service with energy priced to the PJM day-ahead spot market for the large commercial and industrial class.
